Cuadra Collective is a Swedish-Norwegian quartet where Nordic folk music meets improvisation, jazz and electronic sounds.
With saxophone, violin and Hardanger fiddle, double bass, modular synthesizer and percussion, the music moves between strong melodies and collective improvisation, with a strong sense of presence in the moment.
The group consists of Christian Cuadra, Selma French Bolstad, Egil Kalman and Anton Jonsson.
In August 2026, Cuadra Collective released their debut album VÄST on Toppkonst. The album has since received international attention and a warm reception from both press and radio.
“The playing is elegant, playful and spacious, allowing the music to breathe… more please!”
